A new gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can strengthen coexistence.
Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and Scientology international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
